About South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR)
SEAir International (SEAIR-I) is a Filipino leisure carrier. SEAIR-I specialises in serving niche destinations as well as providing charter services. In 2012, the airline was purchased by Tigerair, with its highly successful low cost carrier operations integrated into Tigerair Philippines. That airline has since become part of the Cebu Pacific brand. SEAIR-I had suspended its only operational route, Manila to Caticlan in Jan-2014.
SEAir International has relaunched as a separate entity with a return to servicing its Boracay and Palawan destinations and is based at Clark International Airport.
SEAIR-I also has established cargo interline agreements with fellow Clark locators Qatar Airways and Emirates. Daily cargo runs between Clark and Cebu are now operated using SEAIR-I’s B737-200, the only airline in the country using a dedicated freighter jet aircraft.
