About Peruvian Airlines
Founded in Nov-2007 and commencing operations roughly a year later in Oct-2008, Peruvian Airlines is a domestic and regional carrier based at Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport. The airline operates mostly scheduled domestic services to outlying towns and cities as well as select tourist destinations. Peruvian also provides a limited number of services to Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, in Bolivia. As part of its international growth plans over the medium/long term, the carrier intends to commence service to the US, with Miami and New York routes under consideration. Peruvian Airlines currently operate a fleet of Boeing 737 family aircraft, predominantly consisting of ‘classic’ -200/300 models.
