About FlyPelican
FlyPelican is an Australian scheduled and charter carrier based at Newcastle Williamtown Airport. The carrier provides scheduled regional services, corporate air transport, fly-in-fly-out, ad-hoc and air freight charter services. FlyPelican was established in 2014 by the staff and management team of Aeropelican - an Australian regional carrier which merged with Brindabella Airlines in 2011. Aeropelican ceased operations in 2013 as Brindabella went into receivership. Flypelican replaced Aeropelican as the operator of regional passenger services across New South Wales. The carrier utilises BAe Jetstream 32 turboprop aircraft owned by IAP, previously utilised by Aeropelican and leased to Brindabella.
