About Blue Islands
Blue Islands is a regional airline with its main base at Jersey Airport, on the island of Jersey, one of the British Crown Dependencies in the Channel Islands. It has smaller bases on the nearby islands of Guernsey and Alderley. The airline offers scheduled and charter services between the Channel Islands, as well as services to the Isle of Man, Southampton, Geneva and Zurich. Its mixed fleet comprises ATR, BAe, Britten Norman and Dornier equipment. Blue Islands became the third franchise under the Flybe brand on 06-Jun-2016, after both parties signed a franchise agreement in Jan-2016. Blue Islands commenced services in Flybe branded ATR aircraft, with Flybe flight numbers. Blue Islands will remain an independent locally owned air operator continuing to operate with it's own aircraft, and under the Blue Islands AOC.
